It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken adults.

Safe Space

We provide a welcoming and safe environment for all young people. A place where they can feel safe to express themselves. A place they can call their own.

Fun, Fun, Fun

Each youth club session is packed with lots of fun things to do that include a pool table, a Foosball table, board games, and lots of different arts and craft activities.

Essential Life Skills

We believe that it is important to support parents and caregivers by teaching young people essential life skills like cooking and money management.

Each club session has a cooking class where young people can get involved with food preparation, cooking and presentation of the delicious food they have made.

We also have the Tuck Shop and although the young people enjoy the offerings, its main purpose is to help us teach young people the value of money, manage their personal budgets and the medium of exchange.

Issue-based topics

We provide a range of positive activities together with addressing issue-based topics, including mental health, sexual health, and healthy relationships.

Sport Activities

Our sports activities are very popular, and we now provide multi-sports coaches on Mondays and Thursdays club sessions.

We also provide street dance for the juniors on a Thursday evening.

Qualified Youth Workers

Our service provider, EPIC Youth, provides qualified and experienced youth workers and ensures a safe space for young people.

All youth workers have passed an enhanced DBS check and are qualified in safeguarding, food hygiene, and first aid.

Volunteers

We actively support young volunteers, to help them gain vital experience in youth work and regularly work with young people for their Duke of Edinburgh award, which has often proved useful for their CVs.

We also support adult volunteers who come along and share their knowledge and experiences with young people.

All volunteers over the age of 18 are required to pass an enhanced DBS and complete level 3 safeguarding training.

Outreach

In addition to the two club-based sessions, our youth workers operate a detached session on Wednesday evenings to engage with young people on the streets and in the parks.
